Computerized  Accounting

The objective of the Computerized Accounting Program is to provide students with fundamental accounting and computing skills consistent with the demand for entry level accounting careers in business and industry.  Students gain hands-on skills in microcomputer keyboarding, formatting, and numeric keypad; how to use Operating Systems to manage their computers and data; Microsoft Office applications using word processing and spreadsheets to create reports, manage communications and data and use email; fundamental accounting principles and how they apply to the financial cycle of business; and computerized accounting software package to maintain the financial records of a company.
